With this privacy policy, we would like to provide you with all information about the storage and use of your data in a transparent manner. 3. Data processing when visiting our website

Whenever one of our web pages is visited, the necessary access data of the user is stored on the server of ARRtist in a log file ("log file"). These data are not personal. In particular, the IP addresses are anonymized. The storage of the log files serves ARRtist to better analyze disruptions in the accessibility of the server and to be able to prove illegal use. ARRtist would also like to provide you with personalized content. For this purpose, on the one hand the clicked articles and on the other hand the areas of interest stored in your profile are evaluated.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest lies in our efforts to provide you with a safe, comfortable and smooth use of our websites. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

4. Purpose and legal basis of data processing in the context of the (chargeable) offers of ARRtist

4.1 Type of personal data

When you use the ARRtist offer on our websites, various personal data are also processed. This includes the user name or e-mail address of the user, as well as all data provided by the user in the course of registration. Together with the user name, this data forms the master data record. Mandatory fields are marked by us as a so-called asterisk field during registration. It is possible that your master data record will be supplemented with further data that is required for certain (additional) bookings, such as for access modules or tickets.

We also use cookies on our websites. All information on this can be found under section 11.

4.2 Purpose and legal basis of processing

All personal data that you provide to us via our websites will be processed by ARRtist in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations for the purpose of proper processing and implementation of your subscription or booking(s) and the associated rights and obligations.

We also use your e-mail address to inform you about offers and products from our publishing world. The legal basis for this is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) DS-GVO) and our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DS-GVO). The legitimate interests are primarily the promotional interest of ARRtist and good customer loyalty and care.

4.3 Obligation to provide your data

All data marked with an asterisk field during your registration or booking are so-called mandatory fields. We need this data in order to fulfill the respective obligations in connection with your contract. If we do not receive this data, we may not be able to process your registration or booking accordingly.

4.4 Inquiry about vaccination status

When you purchase a ticket for the Conference, we will ask you to provide us with your vaccination status. This data processing is carried out in the context of our hygiene concept in order to guarantee all participants of the conference the greatest possible protection against infection by the COVID-19 virus. At the same time, the total number of participants required by the authorities can be increased if as many participants as possible are fully vaccinated. Therefore, your information also serves the purpose of organizing a successful conference for all participants. The data processing is based on your consent, according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a). in conjunction with. Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a).

5. Newsletter

ARRtist offers you the possibility to register for our newsletter. For this we need various data, whereby we ask for your consent before processing. The purpose of the processing is to send you the newsletter. For this purpose, the e-mail address and the IP address are stored with the respective time of booking and confirmation in order to be able to prove the booking of the newsletter in case of doubt. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) DS-GVO.

In the context of your participation in certain special formats, such as master classes or round tables, your personal data is passed on to the partners whose programs you attend or whose services you book or whose virtual platform you visit, in order to be able to inform you about current products and services as well as current developments by e-mail even after the event. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b) DS-GVO. The e-mail dispatch is carried out in accordance with the privacy policy of the respective partner.

If we involve external service providers in the context of data processing, we have also ensured in this respect that they are selected and controlled in compliance with the statutory provisions and are also obliged to comply with the statutory provisions under data protection law. Beyond this, your data will not be passed on unless you have expressly consented to this beforehand. This consent can be revoked at any time and without giving reasons to ARRtist (at the address above).

If necessary, we may be required by law to disclose your data to third parties. We will only comply with such requests within the scope of the legal obligation and after careful examination of whether such an obligation actually exists.

7. Automated decision-making and profiling

On our websites, your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making or profiling.

8. Storage period

Your data will only be stored by us for as long as you are registered with us with a user profile. If data processing takes place for an order, registration or booking process, your data will be stored in accordance with the legal storage and retention obligations and subsequently deleted. If you have given us consent for certain data processing, we will delete the data as soon as you have revoked your consent.

Right to information:

In accordance with Art. 17 DS-GVO, you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Right to restriction of processing:

Pursuant to Art. 18 DS-GVO, you may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer require the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 DS-GVO.

Right to data portability

10. Use of cookies and social plugins

Cookies are used on our website during your visit. Cookies are small text files in a designated file directory of the end device. This file is used to identify the Internet browser of the user's terminal device for the duration of the session, even beyond the boundaries of the website, to enable comfortable work with ARRtist. Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking, an analysis service provided by Google as part of ARRtist's use of Google AdWords. Google AdWords sets a cookie on your computer ("conversion cookie") if you have reached our website via a Google ad.
